A few words about
What We Do
How We Serve Humanity
Guided by the spirit of SEWA, Mission Sarbat Da Bhala exists to serve humanity without discrimination, placing compassion and service at the heart of everything we do. Our journey began with the simple belief that no life should be left unsupported in times of crisis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this belief turned into action as we helped save lives by providing emergency support and safe transportation to patients in need.
Beyond emergency relief, we are committed to building a stronger and more caring society through education for underprivileged children, accessible healthcare for vulnerable families, and empowerment initiatives that help women and widows become self-reliant. We stand with communities in their most difficult moments, offering hope, dignity, and opportunities for a better future. Through selfless service and collective effort, we continue to work towards a society where humanity comes before all differences.
Education
The Gurumukh Free Education initiative was started in 2021 with a deep commitment to support children who were orphaned or severely affected during the COVID-19 pandemic. What began humbly on a terrace with just five children has today grown into a nurturing learning space for over 120 underprivileged students. Beyond academics, the initiative focuses on holistic development by providing free quality education, daily nutritious breakfast and meals, school supplies, and emotional support in a safe and caring environment. Guided by the belief that education is every child’s right (#ShikshaMeraAdhikar), The Gurumukh strives to restore hope, dignity, and a brighter future for children who lost stability during the pandemic.
Health care
The S. Hazura Singh Health Care Program for All is a humanitarian initiative dedicated to ensuring accessible and dignified healthcare for everyone, especially the underprivileged and vulnerable sections of society. Under this program, Mission Sarbat Da Bhala provides free emergency ambulance services, hearse (Shav Vahan) support, health check-up camps, and essential medical assistance to those who cannot afford timely care. Guided by the values of compassion and selfless service, the program works round the clock to bridge critical gaps in healthcare access, ensuring that no life is lost due to lack of resources or support.
Skill training
The Sdn. Kulwant Welfare Program was initiated to support widows who lost their husbands during the COVID-19 pandemic and were left facing emotional, social, and financial hardships. This program aims to restore dignity, stability, and hope by providing essential ration support, healthcare assistance, emotional counseling, and help in rebuilding livelihoods. Through compassionate outreach and sustained support, Mission Sarbat Da Bhala stands beside these women, empowering them to move forward with strength, self-respect, and confidence during one of the most challenging periods of their lives.
