Our Story of SEWA
I started my life as a cab driver, struggling to earn my livelihood-my bread and butter. Later, in 2021, during the global COVID-19 pandemic, I converted my cab into an ambulance equipped with an oxygen facility to save our fellow countrymen. This helped many patients reach their destination (hospitals) safely and without fear. During this time, the NGO “Mission Sarbat Da Bhala” was established in July 2021. My entire family has always stood behind me, serving people round the clock (24/7). The organization, Mission Sarbat Da Bhala – “Welfare for All,” is inspired by the Sikh principles of selfless service (Seva). Even today, we continue to serve the community with our free ambulance service and a free hearse van (Shav Vahan). This free ambulance service has become my identity in the NCR.

We started another vertical The Gurumukh free education for an underprivileged society, #Shiksha Mera Adhikar which started from Terrace with 5 kids in 2021, now it has reached 120. This campaign will be expanded further in the future. We also provide a Breakfast and healthy meal to every kid everyday free of cost.
To run this mission, funds are urgently required which we try to generate under the campaign “Raddi Se Unnati” collecting “Raddi” / Scrap from different houses and selling it to scrap dealers, but it is insufficient to complete such a great noble work facing the ground reality, we need financial help to procure the following things and request for help:
Education:-
Books, Stationery items, A mini School van for pickup and dropping the students.
To continue the health care programme for the general public:-
1. Mini/semi life saving equipped ambulance.
2. “Raddi Se Unnati” A Vehicle is required for the collection of Raddi from Delhi NCR.
Mission Sarbat Da Bhala is registered as a Charitable Trust and holds 12A, 80G, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), DARPAN (NITI Aayog), and e-Anudaan registrations. During this short philanthropic journey, our organization has successfully accomplished and implemented several notable initiatives:
1. Organized blood donation camps for children suffering from thalassemia and blood cancer.
2. To promote girl child education, organized a grand marathon in Palam Vihar, Gurugram, under the name #ShikshaMeraAdhikar.
3. To protect the environment, organized a plantation drive in Palam Vihar under the name #PedMeriPehchaan, where 200 children planted 200 trees.
4. During the Delhi floods, I personally, along with my son, entered the flood- affected areas to provide food and drinking water to severely affected people.
5. We are currently extending our selfless services to flood victims in Punjab.
After the floods, our organization left no stone unturned in providing essential support and necessities to affected families to help restore their livelihoods
6. From time to time, we organize health check-up camps for children (pictures attached).
Mission Sarbat Da Bhala celebrates all major festivals at our center, including Ganesh Chaturthi, Guru Nanak Jayanti, Christmas, Krishna Janmashtami, Holi, Diwali, Independence Day, and Republic Day, promoting unity and inclusiveness.
7. Since 2021, we have been providing tea and biscuits (Langar) throughout the winter season and distributing warm clothes and blankets to homeless people sleeping under the open sky along roadsides.
8. Children’s birthdays are celebrated once every month for students enrolled in “The Gurmukh Free Education” program.
